Feature and Follow Friday #2

By 7:16 AM

The Feature & Follow is a weekly event that allows bloggers to get to know each other, and gain more followers! It is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.

Q: What is a book you didn't like that all your friends raved about or what book did you love that wasn't popular?

I actually really liked Lauren Kate's Fallen series, as well as Alyson Noel's Immortals. Both series got pretty bad reviews and ratings on GR, but I enjoyed them.

I wasn't crazy about Delirium and Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver. I thought they were ok, and I'd like to eventually read Requiem. But they just didn't draw me in like I needed them to. I'm not crazy about Jennifer Estep's Mythos Academy either. I really didn't care for the first book and am struggling with whether or not to continue the series.

What about you guys? Which books did you end up liking that others didn't? Or not liking that others did?

If you are a new follower, please make sure you let me know so I can follow you back!

  4. I also love the Fallen series and I really don't get why it has such bad reviews... I thought it was lovely ^^

And I AM one of those crazy people about Delirium, but to be honest, from what I've heard about Requiem, I'm sort of scared to read it because I think it will ruin the entire series for me. We shall see...

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!

  10. Haven't read any of these honestly! None of them grabbed my interest enough.

Although, Jennifer Estep's series sparked a little bit of an interest, so when I was able to get books 1-3 for free, I thought what the heck and added them to my TBR pile. They are still there though. Kind of the maybe, eventually TBR pile!

I haven't read Delirium yet, but it is on my TBR list. As for Fallen, I wasn't a fan. But I do intend to read the rest in the series to see how the story pans out.

  14. I liked Delirium but Pandemonium pissed me off. I liked the Fallen series till the last book which I couldn't finish. And I laso couldn't finish the Immortal Series. I liked the first couple of books but then it just got tedious for me.

Thanks for stopping by and following - following back :)

  21. Just returning the follow :) Thanks for visiting... your welcome back anytime!

I ADORE the Fallen series. I have all but the second book in hardback, and I swallowed them whole! Not literally, though. Iv been following the series since before they came out (pre-ordered the first book and waited anxiously for it to be mailed to me) and I flipped (again, not literally) when the other ones came out. While Im STILL upset by the ending of the last one, it was a clean goodbye and Im glad that everyone was happy. IM JUST TOO SAD ITS OVER!
