In the new series by Tiffany King, the USA Today bestselling author of the Woodfalls Girls novels, six friends—fresh from high school graduation—discover that the future can come at you from out of nowhere.

This is Mackenzie’s story…

Mackenzie Wilson once had hope for what life had to offer, but everything changed on the night of her graduation. A year later, the only way she can find comfort is by keeping her head down and hoping she remains unnoticed at college.

When Bentley James discovered Mac in that twisted SUV, he was just a newbie EMT on his first call. It was a gut-wrenching moment that made him realize not everyone can be saved—and sometimes they don’t want to be.

A chance encounter on campus brings Bentley back into Mac’s life. Despite her initial resistance, he sets out to discover the girl hiding beneath a shield of seclusion. He evokes painful memories in Mac—but also feelings. As the spark between them grows, Mac must decide if she can let go of the past and believe in something as fragile as love…

I am always eager to read another Tiffany King book, so when I heard about this series, I knew I had to read it. Tiffany does emotional so well and as difficult as this book was to read on my poor heart, it was such a beautiful story at the same time. This is a very character driven novel with a sweet romance that completely captured my heart.

"This was the curse of surviving. You're left to pick up the pieces of your broken, shattered, decimated life. I couldn't remember what it felt like to be whole."

Mac's character has gone through a traumatic event that no person should ever have to endure in their lifetime. Having been involved in a fatal accident on graduation night, Mac has not been the same ever since. She is a shell of a girl, merely existing at college. She is not personable and she shuts the world out, hiding behind her grief, anger, and shame. It was truly heartbreaking to see her living this way and it was hard to like her at first because of the wall she has erected. However, as Bentley reemerges into her life, things start looking up for her. In him, she finds a friend who cares enough to work past her surly attitude and dismissive nature. That's not to say Bentley 'cures' her by any means. It's a battle for her to start seeing herself as he does, an incredibly strong girl who has been dealt a tragic hand and still has her pride, despite her disability.

I loved Bentley. He was such a great guy and truly the person Mac needed to help bring her out of her self-imposed prison. Saving people is not only his job, but it's in his nature. There are times when he forgets about Mac's limitations and feels bad, but Mac likes that he doesn't treat her as this breakable, fragile girl. She has come to terms with her disability and she tries not to let her affect her. Bentley is still new at their relationship and his protective nature makes him want to throttle people for being so heartless when it comes to pushing her along, etc. Mac doesn't particularly care for that, as she is used to it.  It takes a bit to find the balance in their relationship, but once they do, it really works.

I really liked these two's chemistry. It's a slower burn for sure, as Mac blows him off for a good bit in the beginning. However, the attraction is definitely there and I really enjoyed seeing them form an actual romantic relationship. Being a New Adult read, King does not overdo their sexy times together, but the ones she does include are so well placed and delivered.

Mac not only opens up with Bentley, but she also starts to let others into her life as well. I loved seeing her relationship with her parents reinforced, as well as her open up to her roommate Trina. Mac has felt guilty for too long and she shouldn't be afraid to make new friends and let herself be happy again. It's a part of her healing process and while it's not easy, it's a step in the right direction.

This is a part of a series and I definitely do not want to spoil anything, but I will say I am looking forward to seeing where King will take these books next. It's going to be an emotional journey for sure, but it's one I'm happy to take with her. Her characters are so real and engaging, that I couldn't help but fall in love with them. This book will really tug at your heartstrings, but it will also fill you with hope, especially after seeing Mac's journey.

If you're a teenager in a small, rural area, how do you exist when your eccentric, free-spirited parents are the town freaks everyone laughs at?

For sixteen-year-old Rainbow Honeywell—or Rain, as she insists on being called—the answer was to become the queen of all pranks. She never wanted to be a troublemaker, but the label quickly stuck when everyone in Huntsville, Kansas, became a target. All she wanted was to deflect the negative attention off her parents, but Rain's plan backfired to the max, landing her in a heap of trouble with the local authorities and expelled from high school.

An unexpected inheritance offers Rain an opportunity for a new beginning when she and her family move across the country to the quaint beach community of Turtle Bay, Florida.

Determined to make the best of her second chance, Rain vows to walk the straight and narrow, hoping her parents will fly under the radar while she soaks up some fun in the sun, sandy beaches, and hot, tanned guys. Unfortunately, she picks the wrong new friends, and a late night party lands her back in the kind of trouble she had been hoping to avoid. As the newbie in town with a record, Rain takes the brunt of the punishment when an unforgiving judge chooses to make an example out of her and slaps her with enough community service hours to keep her busy until she is old and gray.

Facing the harsh reality of paying for the actions of others while atoning for her own past sins, Rain is paired up with Josh Shaw, a judgmental local lifeguard whose love for the beach and the environment is eclipsed only by his distaste for those who trash it. As far as Josh is concerned, Rain is guilty and got what she deserved, regardless of her side of the story. To make matters worse, a tropical storm sits in the Atlantic, threatening to wreak havoc on the small beach community.

Things slowly change as Rain begins to appreciate her surroundings through Josh's eyes, proving she is not the person he thinks she is. Their feelings for one another blossom as the tropical storm grows into a hurricane and bears down on Turtle Bay. With impending danger looming, the small beach community must come together in order to ride out the storm.

Sun, sand, surf, cute boys, kissing.... what more could I want in a YA book? Turtle Bay comes through with all of these and I absolutely want to get in my car and drive down to Florida tomorrow.  I really enjoyed this one. It was fun, sweet and made me long for the days of summer.

Our main character Rain has just moved with her rather eccentric parents to Florida in hopes of making a fresh start. Rain had gotten into some trouble and now she is looking to turn things around and hopefully find her niche in Turtle Bay, Florida. I really enjoyed Rain's character. King does such a great job of making her relatable. She's an everyday teen who wants to fit in and it's hard for her to do so with her parents being the way they are. I loved Rain's parents. They were awesome. Sure, they could be pretty over the top, so I definitely could see where Rain was coming from, but they do love their daughter unconditionally and Rain sees that, no matter how much they embarrass her with their antics. They have always marched to the beat of their own drum, so naturally as a teenager, it's hard for Rain to accept and embrace their weirdness. As the story progresses though, we see Rain have some very real moments with her parents and I like that their relationship is so open. Even when Rain is expressing her feelings to them, they don't ignore her- instead they listen to her and decide what they can do as a family.

Rain ends up finding herself in some trouble here in Turtle Bay not long after she moves there. Unfortunately, it was more of a wrong place, wrong time scenario. Still, Rain must face the consequences of her actions, which forces her to deal with a guy she met her first day on the beach, who was a real jerk to her. Josh is a lifeguard and an environmentalist and immediately makes assumptions about Rain's character. These two do not get off on the right foot and there is some serious angry tension between them. I ended up loving Josh though. It was wrong of him to make those assumptions about Rain, but things do get ironed out between them and I really ended up liking their relationship. It was sweet and they spend quite a bit of time together getting to know one another and helping out on the beach. Between him and Farrah, Rain really has it going on in the friend department.

I loved seeing Rain find something she was so passionate about. She loves to read and write, but she discovers she also loves helping out at the beach. The whole community comes together to help make preparations for an incoming hurricane and it was just awesome to see how amped up everyone was to ensure everything was ready. Even Rain's parents jumped in and started helping out too! The overall dynamic of this book was just a feel good one. I loved the sweetness of the story and that Rain ended up turning a crappy situation into an awesome one and she has found a home in Turtle Bay with her family and new friends. My only wish is that I could have read this one with my toes in the sand down on the beach....

As a big fan of the Woodfalls Girls series, I was thrilled to finally get Tressa's book. Having briefly met Tressa in the previous two novels, we know she is incredibly loyal to her friends and is also a bit of a wild child.

My favorite part of the novel is watching Tressa's development from a straight up partier to more of a straight edge focused on her studies. Unfortunately for Tressa, she had to hit rock bottom before realizing her life is not as easygoing as she once thought. It isn't easy for Tressa to completely change who she's always been and the routine she's known for the last few years. Her friends don't understand the sudden change in her and her closest friend Cameo, is really upset with Tressa, having felt she abandoned her and their partying lifestyle. The one person who embraces Tressa's new lifestyle is the last person she ever expected to get close to: uber nerdy and very very sexy Trent James. Also hailing from Woodfalls, Trent has had a crush on Tressa for quite some time now, but Tressa has always made it very clear she's not interested. Watching the two of them work together and see her start to see Trent for more than just the geeky guy who has a crush on her is my favorite part of the story. Their chemistry is both sexy and sweet and I loved watching Tressa fall for him.

Tressa's character is definitely a bit rough around the edges and has a bit of an in your face personality. Her voice initially took some getting used to, but as the book progresses as does her relationship with Trent, she does soften up a bit. I adored Trent's character. Mad props to Tiffany for making him a sexy nerd! He was such a fun character. He's geeky and Tressa calls him on it often, but he isn't ashamed of who he is and what he likes. I love how he can be vulnerable and shy one moment and then have this adorable confidence the next. He is persistent in his pursuit of Tressa, even when she blows him off and refuses to go out with him. She nicknames him Clark Trent, which is so fitting for how he's nerdy, but built like a rockstar with gorgeous blue eyes.

Overall, I really enjoyed this one. I did feel the beginning had a bit of a slower start and I did feel some scenes to be a bit heavy on the details, but other than that the storyline and romance really worked for me. I really love new adult books with a college setting and this one did a great job of showing us all aspects of college life- frat parties, hazing, studying, tutoring, romance, and friendship.

Today’s premiere New Adult authors combine their talents to tell four original stories from inside one house.

When four girls decide to live off campus together as juniors at a college in Michigan, they expect it to be their best year yet. Little do they know, it’s a year that will change the rest of their lives.

BEHIND HER EYES by A.L. Jackson
Unable to live down her ex-boyfriend’s deception, Misha is determined to avoid betrayal. When, the new guy next door, Darryn starts to get under her skin, her defenses start to crumble. But trusting Darryn seems impossible, especially if he’s not sure he can trust himself.

SAVING ME by Molly McAdams
On the outside, Indy is always ready for a party—but inside she’s breaking. Kier makes a weekly routine of saving the girl next door from herself on Saturday nights… but when will she be ready to remember him on Sunday morning?

FOULING OUT by Tiffany King
Working at a sports bar, Courtney has become a pro at sidestepping propositions from arrogant jocks—which makes her a more elusive catch for campus basketball star Dalton than he expected. But when he falls for the saucy waitress, Dalton will have to rethink his game plan to prove he’s not the jerk Courtney expects.

BENEATH YOUR LAYERS by Christina Lee
In order to ace her fashion internship, Chloe must team up with local college dropout and set builder, Blake—much to her chagrin. But after some "hands-on" experience, Chloe will have to ask herself if Blake factors into her carefully laid plans…

I really enjoyed this anthology! All four authors did an awesome job with the college setting and creating a really great atmosphere for these four girls to fall in love. Each story focuses on a different girl and I love how each author kept the stories interconnected but made each their own.

The first story is Misha's, and after being heartbroken and utterly humiliated, she has turned tail and run back home to get away from everything that went down. Her story begins with her return, but she is a shell of a person- hiding from everyone, shutting the world out because she's afraid of being hurt and vulnerable again. She feels shame over what happened, even though it wasn't her fault. Her new, sexy as sin next door neighbor Darryn makes her feel things she knows she shouldn't, because she won't let herself be played a fool again. Out of all the stories, this was probably my least favorite. I found myself irritated by how many times she referred to Darryn as a boy-man-god. I got that he was hot the first time. I didn't need to keep hearing it repeated. I also found Misha to be a difficult character to like. I get her hesitations and hangups, especially after what was done to her, but I just couldn't connect to her. Darryn wasn't my favorite either, as there was a scene that really bothered me, where he was going to follow through on something when Misha was upset and in a really vulnerable place and that rubbed me the wrong way.

I did like Indy and Kier though. Kier is a sweetheart who takes care of Indy night after night when she is too messed up to do so, and she never remembers who it is that is always taking care of her. Like Misha, Indy starts off her story walking into a rather awkward situation, which completely blindsides and hurts her deeply. Ever since, she has been losing herself in endless parties, wanting to numb the pain of not only what happened between her and her ex, but also the pain of her past as well. Kier has his own past that he finally reveals to Indy, explaining why he is so quiet and never the life of the party. He is a good guy and I like how sweet he is to Indy, wanting nothing more than to take care of and protect her from her own self-destruction.

Our third novella is about Courtney, who we don't see much of in the first two novels, as the girl works like crazy. If she's not in school, she works as a waitress at a popular bar near campus. Her love interest is the uber popular star athlete, Dalton, who she once shared a friendship with when they were younger. Forced to concentrate on basketball, he had to made some sacrifices and his friendship with Courtney was one of them. Now, seeing her again at the bar she works at, he finds he wishes she didn't treat him with such disdain. He wants to rekindle not only their friendship, but aim for something more. I love Tiffany's writing style. It is so fun and humorous! I loved that Courtney didn't just fall into bed with the hot basketball player. Instead, she made him work for it and prove she wasn't just another girl to him. Their sexual tension was so great and OMG- I was in full on swoon mode over some HAND HOLDING. Sigh. So great.

Finally, we have Chloe's story and she is another one we really don't see hardly at all up until this point. She is busy working as well and trying to make it through her final years at school so she can abandon ship and head to NYC to pursue a career in fashion. With an overbearing mother concerned about her future, Chloe doesn't have a lot of opportunities to just let her hair down and be spontaneous. She is less than thrilled when her new internship requires the help of Blake, her boss's nephew. There is no love lost between the two and working together is going to prove quite difficult with such underlying tension between them. Chloe and Blake have made a lot of assumptions about one another, so I liked seeing them realize they don't know the other person at all. Their games of Truth or Dare are so cute and fun to watch because it's their way of trying to make things right and get to know one another. Blake is another great guy, who has sacrificed his own dreams to take care of the people closest to him. He finds himself enjoying Chloe's company and looking forward to working together, as it is a welcome escape from what he has to deal with at home.

I really like when authors team up and use the same set of characters and setting to fuel their stories. We also got to see how the other couples were faring in the novellas that followed theirs, which was sweet to see. I did expect to see a stronger friendship between the girls, but for the most part, their romances were the primary focus of these novellas.

Twenty-two-year-old historical romance writer Nicole Blake, or N.S. Blake to her readers, hasn't taken an official poll, mind you, but she is convinced she may be the only romance author on the planet who is still a card-carrying member of the virgin club. Not that she hasn't tried to end her membership. Life just keeps finding pesky ways to interfere. With no prospects on the horizon, Nicole begins to feel like the closest she will ever get to experiencing a man is within her own stories.

Opportunity presents itself in the form of hot-as-sin-on-a-lollipop-stick bartender/premed student Alec Petropoulos, who agrees to be the cover model for her upcoming book. Sparks fly instantly between them, and Nicole begins to entertain the possibility that she's finally found the right guy to hand over her tattered V-card. Alec has all the makings for a perfect one-night-stand candidate except, much to Nicole's surprise, he seems to be the only man in existence not interested in bagging a virgin.

Stuck between a rock and a stubborn male, what's a virgin to do? Seduce him, of course. How hard could it be? If it works for the characters in her stories, why wouldn't it work for her? After all, what happens under the cover…stays under the cover.

It's no secret Tiffany is one of my favorite authors. So why in the world I waited as long as I did to read this... I don't even know! This book really sets itself apart from most other romances, because of how much I could relate to it! Well, not the finding an incredibly hot model part. Our main character is an indie author! As a blogger, I've worked very closely with several indie authors and had the immense privilege of hanging out with several of them this past summer at a conference!

I really loved getting into Nicole's mind and seeing her writing habits, as well as how she deals with promoting her novels and everything that goes into it. Nicole herself is a hot mess though. She's a bit shy and awkward, but there's just something really endearing about her! There were so many scenes in this book I couldn't help but laugh at the poor woman! The icing on top of the cake? She's a romance author who writes incredibly sexy scenes... and still has her v-card! The right opportunity just hasn't presented itself to Nicole.... until she meets her oh-so-sexy male model, Alec. Even after acting like a total nutcase in front of him, he doesn't seem too put off by her. In fact, the two really hit it off after an evening out with their friends. They have instant chemistry with one another and it's seriously hawt.... until Nicole mentions that she's still a virgin.

*Crickets*

Alec isn't a bad guy. Sure, he's good looking, but he's also working as a bartender by night and a pre-med student by day. He's flirty, fun, and polite- what's NOT to like? Well Alec Petropoulos, you really pissed me off with the way you handled the big V news. It was completely out of character for him to act that douchey, so it really took a while for him to win me back over. Poor Nicole. I wanted to jump into the book and give her a big hug. She was humiliated for one, and two- no one likes to feel rejected.

Unfortunately, it's not that easy for Nicole to say c'est la vie and move on with her life. Her best friend and cover designer, Olivia, also helps Nicole with some of her publicity. Having to attend a few book signings and conferences, Olivia points out that the hot thing right now is to have the male model accompany her to help promo her book. Uh.... AWKWARD.

Alec and Nicole make it work, however, and decide to try their hand at friendship. Too bad the two of them having steaming hot chemistry together! That chemistry is bubbling beneath the surface ready to explode! We do find out why Alec is against taking Nicole's v-card and while I can't begrudge him his reason, he probably could have handled his reaction a lot better than he did. Still. He's a guy and guys sometimes have NO tact.

Nicole can't deny that having Alex with her is doing wonders for her upcoming book sales. The more time they spend with each other, the more Nicole is determined to get him to crack. And crack he does....

I really enjoyed this novel by Tiffany, even though I did find Alec to have a bit duality to his character. There were a few of his actions that I didn't particularly like, especially after he acted in a completely opposite manner prior to them. Aside from those inconsistencies, King has created a really fun romance that I had a blast reading. Any time I can strongly relate to a book and its characters makes it that much more worthwhile for me!

Tiffany! Thank you so much for doing this interview with me! As soon as I finished reading, I knew I HAD to pick your brain!

It's my pleasure. I'm so glad you enjoyed The Write Stuff!

Before we jump into it, how would you describe your book in 10 words or less for those who haven’t yet read it?

Awkward virgin romance author seeks hot as sin cover model.

Our main character Nicole is an indie author, who is working on a new book series. I love that we get to see Nicole attending signings and promoting her new book. Did you draw on your own experiences to write this novel?

Absolutely. There was a time when I would stress about going to signings because I am a shy person by nature, but over the years I have become much more comfortable. Now I can honestly say I enjoy meeting new people and talking to readers about my books. As for bringing a cover model along---I've never done that myself, but I've seen some crazy things at events. Let's just say, some people are awfully enthusiastic about taking pictures with cover models.

Is Nicole’s character based off a real person? Maybe… you? LOL. Or does she have some of your characteristics?

Nicole is not completely based on any one person in particular, but she and I do share some of the same personality traits. I'm not necessarily the introvert that she is, but I also don't like attracting a lot of attention to myself if I can help it.

The author friends of Nicole … are they based on any real life authors? J

Maybe. I can't tell you who though. It's our little secret ;)

What made you sit down and write a book like this?

It just seemed like an interesting dynamic. An author and a hot cover model with an obvious attraction toward one another, on a book tour together. Then, after pondering different directions I wanted the story to go, I came up with the idea to make Nicole a virgin. I think it added a fun twist of irony that makes the story even more intriguing. I hope the readers feel the same way.

If you had to cast Alex and Nicole, who would you choose? (Or do you have any pictures of people you envision as them?)

Someone like Selena Gomez would be fun for Nicole, and maybe Liam Hemsworth for Alec. He could definitely pull it off.

Do you prefer self-pubbing over traditional pubbing? If so, why?

Indie-publishing got me to where I am today. My experiences in self-publishing have always been positive and have brought me great success. I will never give up that side of the business. That being said, I am also absolutely loving my experiences in traditional publishing. I have a wonderful relationship with my agent and with my editor at Berkley. I've never been the type to put myself in a box, so when the opportunity to enter traditional publishing came my way, I jumped at it. Now, I'm glad I did because it has taken my career in different directions that I had not been able to reach on my own. There are many avenues available to authors today. You have to look at each opportunity and decide if it's right for you, and understand that what works for one author may not work for you.

If you could sit down for coffee with any author, who would you want to talk to and what would you chat about?

I've been fortunate to have developed some great friendships with several authors and we chat about anything and everything, but if you're giving me the opportunity to reach for the stars, I would pick J.K. Rowling any day of the week. I would love to listen to her talk about her experiences and her thoughts about how her idea turned to something that changed her entire life and how she's handled it over the years.

What comes next, once your happily ever after has been written?

 Real life.

Nicole and Alec are doing their best to live the HEA she's been dreaming for and writing about in her books. The problem is she's been coping with her newly achieved success as an author and the responsibilities that are transitioning her away from the introverted life she prefers. He's neck deep in medical school and stuck at the hospital almost every waking hour. Something's got to give.

Sometimes, what looks like happily ever after from the start can become something entirely different on the other side.

Finding time together can be a challenge, but Nicole and Alec seem to have things figured out. That is, until Nicole's publisher sends her on an extended book tour for her upcoming release, putting an unexpected strain on their relationship. When Alec begins hanging out with his ex, who also happens to be the mother of his little girl, Nicole can't help feeling that maybe her ever after is about to turn into a never mind. Things turn from bad to worse when Nicole is faced with what she perceives as betrayal, leaving the door open to Greg, her new public relations rep who is more than willing to offer up a shoulder to dump her woes on. Betrayal can be a two-way street and Nicole must now decide which way the story goes from here.

Writing a happily ever after was so much easier than actually living one

Just when she thought things were going up…

Two years after a devastating breakup, Brittni Mitchell has moved on from Justin Avery—or so she tells herself. But when she returns to Seattle for her best friend’s engagement party, Brittni finds herself the victim of a disastrously timed elevator breakdown. She’s trapped with the last person she wants to face, and forced to recount the past she desperately wants to forget.

She’s going to have to look back…

When Brittni left her podunk hometown for a big city college experience at the University of Washington, hooking up with a guy like Justin Avery was not part of her plan. Between Justin’s attention-grabbing tattoos, cigarette smoking, and bad boy attitude Brittni quickly chalked him up as "Mr. Wrong.” But his charm was unrelenting, and Brittni’s decision to give Justin a chance quickly turned into the worst choice she ever made.

So that she might be able to move forward.

Now she’s stuck with Justin—literally—and the complicated web of misunderstandings that tied up the truth for two years is about to unravel.

“Funny, real, moving and passionate, Misunderstandings is a MUST-READ for NA contemporary romance fans."--New York Times bestselling author Samantha Young

“Super sweet and swoon-worthy!”— #1 New York Times Bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout

After reading and loving Tiffany's No Attachments last year, I knew I HAD to continue to Woodfalls series and see Ashton's friends, Brittni and Tressa, find love. I am so glad I did! There's something about Tiffany's writing style that just pulls you in and keeps you engaged the entire time. I really enjoyed this one, as I felt Tiffany really showed her versatility as an author with the way she develops her characters and switches back and forth between the present and the past.

Pacing: I thought it was great. I didn't experience any lulls in the plot and I could not stop reading because I was desperate to find out what had caused such an awful rift between Brittni and Justin.

Storyline: I really enjoyed how the book goes back and forth between the present and the past. It is not distracting at all and I found I was able to keep up quite easily. For Brittni and Justin's story, I think it is critical to understand how their relationship was before and watch how it deteriorates in front of your very eyes. It gives you that added perspective as to why the characters act the way they do now and I think it really made the story that much more endearing and made your heart really ache for these two people. The title of this book is so fitting as everything comes down to miscommunication between the two and letting fear take over.

Presently, Brittni and Justin are reunited and despite not speaking or seeing one another for two years, things are still tense between them. Justin still harbors a lot of animosity, bitterness, and hurt towards Brittni over how things ended between them. It was very hard to witness their happy memories together and watch their relationship develop and overcome their insecurities, only to see it in shambles now. Even now, there are still things Justin doesn't know about what really happened, but being stuck in an elevator together forces the two to confront the past and decide whether they can forgive and move forward.

Characters: It actually took me awhile to warm up to the characters. Past Brittni is pretty judgmental. When she first meets Justin she assumes she knows his type and stereotypes him as a bad boy because of his flirtatious nature, his tattoos, etc. In reality, he is a pretty easy-going guy. He isn't easily offended by Brittni's statements and still wants to get to know her. He's a great brother, artist, and an incredibly passionate individual. He likes Brittni a lot, but has never really done relationships in the past. Brittni hasn't really either, which is why their relationship really took them both by surprise. Neither one expected to feel the way they did about one another, and while Brittni still had her doubts and insecurities, they actually really had a great relationship. Brittni is easily accepted into Justin's family and I loved seeing those scenes with Justin's mom, sister, and brother. Their fallout was something that really bothered me, as I felt they both acted prematurely and rather childishly. Justin has always been patient and understanding of Brittni, so it was hard to watch him make the decision he did concerning their relationship and then throw it back in her face. As scared as Brittni was, she should have told Justin the truth before they crossed a line they couldn't come back from.

Present Justin is, as I stated earlier, bitter and angry at Brittni and was hard to like, as he was so closed off. Brittni still has her spunk, but is a little defeated at the same time. She was also hurt by the past and they both really handled things very badly. Now that they have a chance to clear the air between them, they will have to decide whether they can deal with the secrets of the past and forgive one another or if the weight of what happened is too great a burden to let go of.

Final Thoughts: I enjoyed the second novel in the Woodfalls Girls series, as there is so much depth to Brittni and Justin's characters and I really liked seeing their story unfold. It is a great story about falling in love, second chances, and learning how to forgive and I am very excited to read Tressa's story in Contradictions!
