Top Ten Tuesday #6

Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
Top Ten Books I HAD to buy... but are still sitting on my shelf unread.
1. The Covenant series by: Jennifer Lynn Armentrout. I LOVE JLA. Don't get me wrong. I bought these awhile ago on my Nook and just haven't had the time. Maybe it's a good thing since Apollyon and Sentinel haven't been released yet.
Books: Half-Blood, Pure, Deity
2. The Premonition series by: Amy Bartol. These look so good. And I saw on a couple other blogs people really like them too.
Books: Inescapable, Intuition, Indebted, Incendiary
3. The Archers of Avalon series by: Chelsea Fine. I have been eyeing these forever, and just recently bought them. Have I even glanced at them? Not yet.
Books: Anew, Avow, Awry
4. The Existence series by: Abbi Glines. I found out about these via GR. Still sitting on my Nook.
Books: Existence, Ceaseless, Predestined
5. Hopeless by Colleen Hoover. I heard about this book and immediately bought it. I love Colleen Hoover's Slammed and Point of Retreat, so I know I'll like this one.
6. The Indigo Spell by: Richelle Mead. (hands head in shame) I bought this the day it came out because I knew I couldn't wait for it. I got too caught up in other books and it's on the wait list.
7. The Crescent Chronicles by: Alyssa Rose Ivy. Some blogs used these books for Swoon Thursday. So I insta-bought, but not insta-read.
Books: Flight, Focus
8. Wait For You by: JLA. I KNOW. I KNOW. I KNOW. Don't say it. :)
9. Hex Hall series by: Rachel Hawkins. I read the first book awhile ago and then bought the other 2. Just haven't had time to finish up the series.
Books: Hex Hall, Demonglass, Spellbound
10. The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden by: Jessica Sorensen. I'm afraid to read this now. I read somewhere this it is really sad and heartbreaking.

Everyone keeps posting such awesome things. It's not going to be long before I crack and read it!
DeleteThe Hex Hall series is so great, but I thought the first book was the best. JLA's Covavent series is her best series in my mind, even though i love her Lux series too :D

AH! I bought Indigo Spell the day it came out and said to myself, "I don't care what else I'm reading, I'm going to stop and read this." Weeks later... LOL.
DeleteI've read none of these, but I've heard great things about so many of them. Thanks for sharing and stopping by!

Lauren @ Lose Time Reading
Yay! I'm so glad to hear you say that about Hopeless! I'm definitely reading it over Spring Break. And I loved the first Hex Hall, so I'm excited to read the rest of the series!
DeleteI haven't read any of these yet either. But I an guarantee my sister bought The Indigo Spell and hasn't read it yet, lol! Thanks for visiting my blog! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL. I know it's going to be great, so I'm going to try and read it over Spring Break.
DeleteI've been really interested in the Hex Hall series since the first book came out. I also have Anew and Coincidence of Callie and Kayden on my nook, but who knows when I'll get around to them!
ReplyDeleteStephanie- there needs to be more hours devoted to reading!! :)
DeleteThanks for visiting my blog!! I want to read the Hex Hall series and both the Lux and Covenant series by JLA. I just bough Obsidian and hope to get to it soon.

I haven't read any of those books, but I also have quite a few of them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! I'm definitely going to be a new follower of yours. ;)
:) Thanks Ashley!
Deleteawesome list! Hopeless is so, so good! I need to read Wait for You and the Covenant series as well (sitting on my shelf, too!) Oh and I liked the Existence series by Abbi Glines
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog ;)
Eva @ All Books Considered
Oh good! I'm glad you liked Existence. I haven't heard much about it, but I saw the books on a Goodreads list and was curious.
DeleteOMG!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopeless is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! What?! I love JLA as JLynn!!!!! OMG OMG OMG...Running to download now!!....Okay seriously Tucker or Christian Spill it... ??? ;) I see you have a team Tucker sticker...DANGGGITTTT! LOL :/ Its Tuck isn't it?..
ReplyDelete:) Yay! I can't wait to read Hopeless. I AM NOT TELLING YOU!!! You have to finish the book and read it!! I do have a Tucker sticker, but I have a thing for country boys. :)
DeleteErr, finish it and find out! That whole finish the book and read it didn't make sense. LOL
DeleteLol, it made sense to me...My April TBR would make any one shudder! It will be my first priority as soon as I get a chance, but I'm pretty certain it'll be Tuck. :/
Delete:) My lips are still sealed.
DeleteI really want to start the Covenant series, I've heard nothing but awesome things about it! And I really want to read something by Colleen Hoover too...I almost bought Hopeless the other day but managed to restrain myself, haha!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
LOL. The word restraint is not in my vocabulary. :) I loved the others books I read by Colleen Hoover and everyone has had nothing but good things to say about Hopeless. I've heard conflicted things about Covenant because so many people say it's so similar to Vampire Academy. (Which is ok with me because I LOVED VA!)
DeleteI have not read the Covenant series yet either. I would really like to. I also have been meaning to read Callie and Kayden for awhile too. I've heard great things! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my post!
~Sara @ Forever 17 Books
Oh I'm glad you've heard good things about it! I've heard it's really sad, so I'm waiting until I have more time to read so I can digest it slowly. LOL.
DeleteLeave me some comment love! And I will get around to commenting back!
My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
