Feature and Follow Friday #7
The Feature &
Follow is a weekly event that allows bloggers to get to know each other, and
gain more followers! It is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee and Alison Can
Read.
Q: We are about to see alot of posts & tweets about reader conventions, RT, BEA, ALA, and many more are starting soon. Which one would you love to attend? Where and why?
Hm. Well, BEA would be awesome because I love NYC. And I think the blogger's conference on the 29th would be so much fun to go to!
After looking at the schedule for RT though, I think I would like to go to that one too! MO is a bit closer than NYC to me. However, because it's at the beginning of May and I am a teacher, it wouldn't work out for me. :(
At some point I would love to go to one of these! I went to my first signing a weeks ago with C.J. Redwine, Katie McGarry, and Kristin Tubb so now I want to go to alot more events around me here in Tennessee!
What about you guys? Have you ever been to one of these conventions? What was your favorite part of it?

Great post! I've never been to any of those conventions and I doubt I ever will, because I live in the UK. :/

DeleteI would love to go to BEA, too!! I was going to try and go this year, but doesn't look like it'll work out this year. Maybe next year! :D Great Post!!

DeleteNew follower here! I'd love to go to BEA too and I would really love to bring my sister but she too is a teacher and could never leave her kids during the week like that.

Thanks for following CeCe! Yeah, that's the bummer of teaching! Maybe in a few years if I save up enough sick days I could!
DeleteI would love to go any convention :) I haven't even been on a book signing.
ReplyDeleteYou are a teacher??? I'm studying to be one.

I just went to my first book signing a couple of weeks ago! It was a ton of fun! Hopefully you'll be able to go to one! And yep! I'm a high school Spanish teacher. I love it. Most days. :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by Ruty!

Thanks Micheline! I definitely plan to go to one of them in the future! Thanks for stopping by and happy weekend!
DeleteYeah BEA is definitely a dream trip for me. NYC is pretty far and the city kind if intimidates me on my own. I'd definitely want a traveling buddy for tackling that place!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Follow Friday
Have a GREAT weekend!
Old Follower :)
I agree Jessica. I definitely wouldn't want to go on my own, but I love NYC and I definitely want to go back someday! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteBEA and NYC is at the top of my list as well - but it won't happen this year. One day I'll make it, though, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteI'm an old Google+, GFC and Bloglovin' follower, wishing you a fantastic weekend.
Here's my FF post for this week.
Yeah this year is out for me too. But like you, I'm holding out for someday! :) Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteMee too(: I live no where when NYC though:(
Yeah, NYC is a pretty far trip for me. I have family in NY State, but that doesn't help, lol. Someday I'd like to go! It'd be easier for me to visit the one in Missouri.
DeleteThanks for stopping by Jackie!
I'll be taking summer course so I won't be able to go to any convention :(
ReplyDeleteFollowing back!
Thanks for the follow back! Ooh, summer courses! No fun! :)
DeleteOooh Sweden! I roomed with a girl in college for a semester from Sweden. I was so jealous because I wanted to go! That does stink you guys don't have a big convention to go to though! Maybe someday you can come to one here! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for following!
My pick is definitely BEA ! If you can manage to go there this year, you definitely should do a post about it :)
ReplyDeleteOh I would definitely do a post! I doubt I can go this year, but I think I'm going to start looking into it for next year!
DeleteIn Ireland so kinda hard for me to attend too! But they sound amazing so hope you do get to go one someday! Following you now on bloglovin :)
ReplyDeleteBookishTrish @ Between the Lines
