Feature and Follow Friday #13

By 7:12 AM

The Feature & Follow is a weekly event that allows bloggers to get to know each other, and gain more followers! It is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.

Leave me a comment and let me know how you followed so I can follow you back! You can also follow me on Twitter- because I love tweeting about books!

Q: The #FF is 150 weeks old! And we want to hear from you! What would you like to change about the hop? What do you like about it? Or just suggest a question for next week!

Hmm! I don't know that I have anything to say in terms of making any changes! It seems to flow pretty smoothly to me! The biggest thing I love about the hop is meeting and connecting with new bloggers. I read a lot of different genres and age groups, so it's fun to get connected with other people who are eclectic like me!

I would definitely like for the questions to be posted in advance though. It would help me out so much, especially since I'm usually already headed to bed when the question comes out.

What about you guys? What do you like the most about the hop?

  1. Yes, meeting so many new bloggers, discovering new genres, interacting and chatting about books is really like heaven on earth! Most of my friends in RL don't read much - and if they do, it's mostly non-fiction. I love reading fiction, much more than I like watching TV or movies - so hooking up with like-minded people is great.

Thanks for stopping by my FF post earlier, Jessica. I hope you'll have a wonderful weekend.

    1. Exactly! A lot of my friends don't read the same types of things I do, so I never really have anyone to talk to! I'm glad I do now!

  2. Definitely agree that this is a great way to meet new bloggers. It's really cool to interact with not only different age groups but people from all over the world too!

  3. I love that suggestion!! It would be a lot easier if the questions were posted a week or so ahead of time.

    1. Thanks Kimberly for stopping by! Having the Q's earlier would give me time to sit and stew on my answer a bit before posting, which I would prefer.

  4. Completely agree! I would love to get the question earlier so I can work on it during the day. By the time it comes out is I'm usually getting ready for bed and my current read :) Thanks for stopping by this week! Old follower.

  6. I play this #FF game with myself where I try to wake up early and rush through it so I can get as high up on the linky list as possible. It makes friday mornings unnecessarily stressful - but then again, maybe I am just neurotic (probably, definitely). More time would be better. I'd like to seen them post next week's question at the bottom of this week's meme. Gives you more time to ponder the question and come up with a better answer too.

    Old Follower duh!

    1. Haha, too funny! I am usually always toward the middle-bottom, haha. Since I usually write my FF post Friday mornings, if I had the Q ahead of time, I could use my 'before school time' to start the commenting process instead of the posting part!

  7. Yeah, definitely seeing that answer a lot about the questions being posted in advance! Maybe they will since a lot of us are agreeing on that! No matter though, I still love this meme and getting to know other bloggers and meeting new friends through commenting and following!

Leave me some comment love! And I will get around to commenting back!

My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
