Weekly Wrap-Up #13
Weekly Wrap-Up #13
So, what's been happening this past week?
Well, I went on my annual Panama City Beach vacation. We left Tuesday evening and got here Wednesday evening. Why would a 7 hour trip take that much time? Oh, well, besides me getting sick (cold and double pink-eye... wtf I haven't had pinkeye since elem. school!), we also had a 3 inch screw in our tire! That wouldn't plug OR patch. So new tire. Except, the dealership had no new tire and we had to jack one from another car in their lot. Sigh. So, we finally got here Wednesday night, ate dinner and then Hello Tropical Storm Andrea! Thursday was pretty much a bust in the beach/tanning department! Luckily, today was gorgeous and I think tomorrow is supposed to be nice too. So, yeah! Craziness.

I can't wait for your reviews of Born of Illusion and Dance of the Red Death. These are two books I'm not entirely sure about and I bet your reviews will help me decide (:
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!!
Sapir @ Diary of a Wimpy Teen Girl
:D Thanks Sapir! I'm reading Born of Illusion now and it's really interesting so far!
DeleteOh man! Nothing worse than getting sick on vacation. I have been there! Glad you got better quickly and get some sunshine :-) Busy week, even on vacation. I definitely don't think you are being ambitious for next week. I have 4 blog tour posts next week so I probably won't be getting off the couch today.
ReplyDelete:D Thanks Chelsea! I am so happy I got better quickly! Yesterday and today were gorgeous! Wow, 4 blog tour posts? I can't wait to read them!
DeleteWow, it sounds like you had a rough time getting to your destination. Being sick and pink eye on vacation, not to mention the tropical storm, is such a bummer. I hope you feel better soon! I'm glad the weather is clearing up for you.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Born of Illusion and Another Little Piece (alongside, like, 5 other books) right now. Both are interesting.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation!!
Thanks Natalie! Things definitely got better and I'm back at 100% now. :D I started Born of Illusion this morning- it started a tad slow, but it's definitely got my interest.
DeleteBad, bad start! Hope it's fun all the way from now on :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Trish! Once everything got sorted and I was feeling better, we had a great time!
DeleteOh, I'm sorry you've had such a rough start to your vacation! I hope the rest goes better and your pink-eye clears up soon.
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I'm constantly amazed at how many posts you're able to put up. You had a great week! Have a great week and good luck with all the reviews!
Thanks Lark! It did get a lot better and by the time I had eye drops, I was ready and rearing to go. :D And I whew. I always think I've had a slow week and then do my wrap up and go, Oh, wait. I didn't. Haha. It helps so much now that I'm not working for the summer.
DeleteLeave me some comment love! And I will get around to commenting back!
My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
