Weekly Wrap-Up #33

 

Hi everyone! This was a slower reading week for me, sadly. I was reading a book I just had the most difficult time getting into- it was boring AND confusing. Not a good combination. I should have DNF'd, but I had the sequel for review so I felt like I had to keep reading so I wasn't lost in the sequel. My fingers are crossed it will be a bit better or I WILL DNF this one.

 

My blogging time may be affected for the next month or so due to school. My co-worker and good friend (she teaches in the classroom next to me) lost her mother this week, so she is taking at least a month off of school to go down to St. Thomas and help her father. Therefore, I will not only be taking care of my own classes, but I will be helping her sub out (teaching concepts to her classes while mine are working, stuff like that) I will also be grading her quizzes and tests too, so my workload doubled. I am not complaining. I know what it's like to be the one in need and have someone step up and take care of things for me, so I am more than willing to make a sacrifice on my part if it makes her mom's passing easier.

 

SO. This could potentially affect my blogging time, as I'll have to start bringing things home to grade and whatnot. Anyways! Just a heads up as to what's going on with me! I have Parent-Teacher conferences this week (JOY) but in 2 weeks it'll be my birthday! Wahooo!
