Top Ten Books That Will Make You Swoon
(I decided to keep it YA today!)
1. Dare You To by Katie McGarry
“I hold the bottle out into the rain and watch as the steady flow slowly fills it. When there is enough, enough that Beth can clearly see, I close the bottle and hand it to her.
She raises a skeptical eyebrow, but accepts the bottle.
"It's our rain Beth."
Her head barely shakes to show her confusion while I rub the back of my neck and search for my courage. "I told you I loved you in this rain and when you doubt my words, I want you to look at this bottle.”

2. Stir Me Up by Sabrina Elkins
“I rest my head against him when our mouths break apart, and breathe him in. I love the smell of him, that mysterious, perfect, warm, delicious taste that is him.”
3. Incarnate by Jodi Meadows
"I'd give anything to make things right for you. "He caressed my cheek, my hair, my back. Everywhere he touched, the angry fires cooled. I wished he'd touch my heart. "But I can't. I can help, but the hard work is all up to you, If you don't feel real, no one else can do it for you. I promise, though you've always felt real to me. From the moment I saw you jump off the cliff."
4. Hover by Melissa West
"I pushed Jackson away, yet he continues to stand beside me, forever thinking I am better than I am, more capable than I am- stronger than I am. Some may think you choose to have feelings for another due to what you see in that person, their strengths and weaknesses. But I think it's also in how that person sees you. And Jackson Castello, right or wrong, sees me, really sees me. How can I push that away? How can I deny that while I see him as mysterious and difficult, I also see him as kind and generous and so much braver than he realizes? He isn't perfect. He is so far from perfect. But maybe it isn't about him being perfect... maybe it's about him being perfect for me."
5. Storm Warning by E.Lee & C. Quinn
"I've never wanted anything the way I want you," he said between kisses. His words burned into her heart, imprinting themselves onto her soul- where she planned to keep them forever."
6. Before I Wake by Rachel Vincent
“His gaze burned into mine, like he could see past my eyes into parts of me no one had ever seen, and I knew I was seeing the same in him. No one else had ever seen him so vulnerable before, like if I pushed him away, he might crumble into pieces that could never be put together again. Yet there was strength, too. He was strong beneath that fragile need, and I knew that I could never fall with him next to me. If I tripped, he would catch me. If I lost my balance, he would find it.”
7. Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead
“What?" I asked uneasily. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
He shook his head, the smile rueful now. "Because sometimes, a person can get so caught up in the details that they miss the whole. It's not just the dress or the hair. It's YOU. You're beautiful. So beautiful, it hurts me.”

8. Shine by Jeri Smith-Ready
“Instead I crawled next to him, snuggling close. "Zach, wake up."
"Can't. Sleeping."
I pressed my mouth to his in a full, deep kiss.
"Second thought, not sleeping.”

9. Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout
“His eyes searched mine. "Thank you."
"For What?" I loved the feel of his arms around me and how I fit against him, hard against soft. He trailed his fingers over my arm, and I was amazed by how he could make me shiver.
"For everything," he said.”

10. Firelight by Sophie Jordan
“His hand glides down my arm, folds over my hand. His fingers lace with mine, palms kissing. I can feel the fast thud of his heart through this single touch.”
