Jumble Your Genres Reading Challenge 2014: March- Urban Fantasy

By 1:00 AM

So this year Readers Live A Thousand Lives, Corrie The Book Crazed Girl, and Lovin' Los Libros have teamed up to host the Jumble Your Genres Reading Challenge! For this challenge, the goal is to mix up the genres/categories we read. We have all had those times when we have gotten stuck in the genre/category we are currently reading and read nothing else for a while. The goal here is to mix that up! Each month we will feature a different genre/category and the goal is to read and review one book or more in that genre/category during that month. This month we are focusing on Urban Fantasy. If you want to find out more and join in, go sign up here.

What I love about Urban Fantasy is that it mixes some of my favorite supernatural elements with the real world. Some of my favorites are:

For the challenge this month I am actually doing a read-a-thon of Richelle Mead's Georgina Kincaid series! I have already read these, but I love them so very much and decided it was time to relive all the Seth/Georgie feels!

  2. Fuck yeah Seth and Georgie! Woot!
I'm going to listen to the audiobooks this time around. I love UF. Besides Georgie, the Chicagoland Vampire series by Chloe Neill is another favorite of mine.

    1. I definitely loved the first 4 or so books in the series and then it got a little meh. But I've heard the last one is good, so I'll need to grab it soon.

Leave me some comment love! And I will get around to commenting back!

My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
