Jumble Your Genres Reading Challenge 2014: April- Middle Grade

By 1:00 AM

So this year Readers Live A Thousand Lives, Corrie The Book Crazed Girl, and Lovin' Los Libros have teamed up to host the Jumble Your Genres Reading Challenge! For this challenge, the goal is to mix up the genres/categories we read. We have all had those times when we have gotten stuck in the genre/category we are currently reading and read nothing else for a while. The goal here is to mix that up! Each month we will feature a different genre/category and the goal is to read and review one book or more in that genre/category during that month. This month we are focusing on Middle Grade. If you want to find out more and join in, go sign up here.

So when I had to pick my favorites for this month, I realized I don't read much Middle Grade, so I am looking forward to mixing things up. Here are some of my favorites though:

I love the Harry Potter series, as well as all Rick Riordan's books! The Percy series and the Kane Chronicles are both so great!

For the challenge this month I plan to read The 13th Sign by Kristin O'Donnell Tubb. I met Kristin last year at a book signing and was really interested in this one!

  1. Picking Middle Grade books was HARD! Magen did much better than us haha! I have Prisoner of Azkaban on my list too, but really I just loves them all! I need to read his Kane Chronicles (I even have them all) but I think I want to finish up what I can of the Percy books first. The book you are reading for the challenge sounds good, can't wait to see what you think of it =D

    1. YES! It was so hard! I had a few others I would have put, but I kinda got lazy. LOL. I really want you to read the Kane Chronicles. REALLY. They're great! It took me a bit to get used to the difference, but I loved.

    1. Yes. Luckily, I had bought a MG book at a signing I went to last year and ended up reading that.

Leave me some comment love! And I will get around to commenting back!

My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
