Music Monday #60: Christmas Edition
Music Monday is a weekly feature I do to show
off music must- haves!
Seeing as I've been listening to Christmas music non-stop now at home since Thanksgiving ended, I thought it was only fitting I shared some of my absolute favorite Christmas songs with you all! There are some songs I included versions by multiple artists because I couldn't pick the ones I loved more.
What are some of your favorite Christmas songs?
What are some of your favorite Christmas songs?
1. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen by Barenaked Ladies & Sarah McLachlan (LOVE their version so much!)
2. Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee ( I NEVER get tired of this song. I can listen to it multiple times a day!)
3. The Prayer versions by Josh Groban and Charlotte Church/ Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli
4. Jingle Bell Rock by Bobby Helms
5. White Christmas by Bing Crosby (My mom and I watch this as we wrap presents together every Christmas Eve, so it has sentimental value for me.)
6. I'll Be Home for Christmas by Josh Groban (I get choked up every time I hear this and they have the soldiers wishing their loved ones a happy holiday.)
7. Baby, It's Cold Outside by Idina Menzel & Michael Bublé (Oh I just love their version! They are adorable!)
8. A Holly Jolly Christmas by Burl Ives
9. Bizarre Christmas Incident by Ben Folds Five (This song just makes me laugh!)
10. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by Judy Garland (Even though it's not a Christmas movie, I love watching Meet Me in St. Louis during this time of year just to watch Judy sing this song.)
11. Under My Tree by *NSYNC (I love Nsync's Christmas cd!)
12. The Christmas Song by Mindy Smith (LOVE Mindy's voice. It's got that folk-twang sound and it really works)
13. Santa's Got a Brand New Bag by SheDaisy (I miss these girls! They were great singers!)
14. Jingle Bells by Frank Sinatra (I just adore the 20's/30's vibe of this one)
15. All I Want For Christmas Is You by Lady Antebellum (The slowed down version is SO pretty! Hilary has a great voice for this.)
16. Feliz Navidad by José Feliciano (I'm a Spanish teacher, so y'know....)
17. My Grown Up Christmas List by Kelly Clarkson
18. Ave Maria by Josh Groban (Sigh. Josh Groban has such a haunting voice.)
19. Please Come Home For Christmas by Grace Potter & The Nocturnals
20. Silent Night/Noche de Paz by Christina Aguilera

Christmas! All I am listing to right now is Christmas music too lol
ReplyDeleteI listen to Nsync Christmas every single year. :) Now I just need to go listen to that version of Baby It's Cold Outside right now because I'm thinking it is going to be wonderful. I would have to add the annoying yet adorable and true song, I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas to my list.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
