The Taylor Swift Book Tag!

Created by The Book Life, the Taylor Swift Book Tag is a fun way to pair book titles to famous Taylor Swift songs through a handful of questions. Wendy from Book-Scents tagged me to do this, so YAY!

I loved this series and read it multiple times back in the day. Recently, I reread it and was like...... Seriously? What was I thinking?!?! This is BAD. Writing, characterization, everything was just.... NO.

The Wrath & The Dawn by Renée Ahdieh

I'm a fan of this cover! Thanks again to Danielle to snagging it at ALA for me!

Shade by Jeri Smith Ready

I read this series really early on when I first started blogging and rediscovering my love for YA again. Oh and I adore Zachary and Aura.

The Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead

Oh gosh. This series.... I was so desperate for Georgie and Seth to figure out a way to make things work. Georgie is a succubus so if she Seth get too close, she could suck the life out of him. Yeah, problem.

Jax from Falling Away by Penelope Douglas. I hated him so much for the way he treated K.C., but loved him just as much because he is not a BAD guy.

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

It's probably my own fault that I haven't read it yet. But people aren't exactly secretive about how this one ends. :(

Chloe Lilywhite from The Fate Series by Heather Lyons

I was ready to kill Chloe for awhile because of her actions and decisions, but in book 3, she really transforms into the heroine I wanted her to be.

Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas

As if you guys didn't already know this!

Hector and Elisa from The Fire and Thorns trilogy by Rae Carson

It's not even fair that I could only pick one. Hmph. But I do love these two so very much.

Dare You To by Katie McGarry

Sorry folks. Ryan and his bottle of rain stays with me.

Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson

It really didn't help that I was road-tripping with my Dad while I read it.

The Fallen series by Lauren Kate

*shrug* I loved these books when I read them. *shakes off the haters*

Infinite by Jodi Meadows

I loved meeting Jodi and telling her how much that masquerade scene in book one affected me. No other scene comes close in terms of swoonage.

Sweet, Texas by Candis Terry

I love being down in Sweet with my favorite Wilders!

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

Oh come on. Again, you had to know this was coming with the way I gush and freak out over this book. TAMLIN <3

Ok, so I am tagging the following to do this! And anyone else who wants to do, of course!

  8. LOL @ 50 Shades.

I read Fallen when I was on the plane to WA - and I almost cussed the book out. LOL I didn't like it, at all. I didn't read the The Georgina Kincaid series but yeah, that equals problem. And who spoiled Eleanor and Park?

(Also, I will have a hard time with this tag.)

    1. Haha, I can't remember who spoiled E&P. I think it's just that I'm like the only one who hadn't read it so people just talk about it. Fallen really surprised me. I think I just like the angels/demons mythology there.

  11. This is such a fun post! I need to pull mine together soon. It probably shouldn't surprise me that I feel exactly the same way about FSoG. I mean, I loved it at the time. I tried to reread it after watching the movie and no. Just no. The writing is terrible. It served its purpose and opened me up to a whole new type of read, but wow... there are SO MANY better books of this genre out there.

There are so many books on your list that I want to read, but have never gotten to. The Fate series and Second Chance Summer are probably atop the list though. Soon... hopefully.

Leave me some comment love! And I will get around to commenting back!

My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
