Tasty Tuesday #21
Hey guys! I'm back again with another Tasty Tuesday!
I do alter my recipes to fit my own tastes, so please also feel free to
refer back to the original recipe at the bottom of the post to see what I
may have eliminated.
Most of my recipes are Weight Watcher friendly, but don't let that scare
you away. They are actually really good. I've also found some great
websites like Skinny Kitchen and Skinny Taste that I use a lot too. Most
of my recipes have some kick to them, so if you are not a big spicy
person, adjust the spices to better fit your tastes. OH. And all of the
meals I cook are really easy to prepare. I'm not big on difficult meals.
Today I am featuring:
Chicken with Honey-Balsamic Glaze
Ingredients:
-1 and 1/2 tsp thyme
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/4 tsp black pepper
-4 chicken breasts
-2 tbsp. honey
-1 tsp olive oil
-2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
Directions:
1. Combine 1st 3 spices and sprinkle both sides of chicken.
2. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-hi heat. Add chicken and cook.
3. Remove chicken and reduce to medium-low.
4. Add balsamic vinegar and honey. Simmer until thickens.
5. Stir constantly and then pour glaze over chicken.
Notes:
You can pair this with whatever. I happened to have some rice at home, as well as corn.
Depending on how much glaze you like, this may not be enough for 4. You might want to increase the ingredients for the glaze so you have enough.
Serving Size: 1 breast of chicken
Serves: 4
Cook Time: 15 minutes
WW+: 4 pts.

Another awesome sounding recipe!
ReplyDeleteYum, you can never go wrong with chicken in rice in my opinion. And corn is always a good option too. This looks so simple but good. Will have to try it!
ReplyDeleteI need to try that glaze for sure! Another recipe I'm adding to the list of those I want to try!
ReplyDeleteLeave me some comment love! And I will get around to commenting back!
My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
