What are you currently reading?
I am not loving this one sadly. I was excited at first because I've missed historical romance, but this book just isn't doing it for me. I'm missing that connection with my characters and I honestly don't much feel their either. I don't HATE it, and I will finish it up, but I would say to skip this one. I've heard great things about Lynsay Sands, so I'll try a different book of hers.
What did you recently finish reading?
I liked this one, but it wasn't my favorite of Lia Riley's books. There were a few plot devices I didn't much care for, and I wasn't crazy about Auden's inner dialogue. It got a bit annoying instead of being funny. I did like grumpy, angry Rhys though!
What are you waiting to read?
I love Katy Evans's books! I am super excited since this has that forbidden romance aspect to it! And I love MMA fighting books!

DeleteAww I'm sad you didn't love With Every Breath. It's definitely not her best book and I completely understand about Auden!

It wasn't bad, but there was something about it that kept me from LOVING. It's still a beautifully written book though.

ReplyDeleteYeah. I wouldn't bother with it. It just didn't grip me and I wasn't very excited about it. I may be ruined by Julia Quinn. haha.
