Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Auto-Buy Authors

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

This week's topic is the top ten authors whose books I would buy immediately, because I love them so much!

1. Rick Riordan- Seeing as I am obsessed with all things mythology- Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Norse... Rick Riordan is my go-to guy. He is able to intertwine  the ancient world in with the modern and I love that. Not to mention, I find it extremely fun to read about his characters meeting characters from mythology, whose original myths I remember reading in HS.
Favorite Books: The Lost Hero, The Serpent's Shadow (to only name a few! I loved all 3 of his series: Percy Jackson, Kane Chronicles, and The Heroes of Olympus)

2. Richelle Mead- I have loved all of Richelle Mead's books that I have read so far. I loved both her Vampire Academy/Bloodlines series and I really liked her Georgina Kincaid series as well! She is just able to pull you in to her world and she knows how to spark your emotions.

3. Jennifer Armentrout- I have only read Armentrout's Lux series so far, but after that I think I insta-bought her Covenant series as well! I have also read a lot of her teasers and such from her blog and her writing is amazing. She really knows how to capture her audience, and kill them with emotions too! I am so excited about some of her adult novels coming out also!
Favorite Books: Obsidian, Onyx, Opal

4. Rachel Vincent- I put Vincent on the list because I am so in love with the Soul Screamers series. Kaylee, Tod, Emma (and yes even Nash and Sabine!) are such great characters and I am so invested in them at this point. Vincent's final book in the series With All My Soul is set to be released this March.
Favorite Books: If I Die, Before I Wake

5. Myra McEntire- I am not even sure how I first heard about Myra McEntire, but to be honest... it doesn't matter! All that matters is that I have! She is such an incredible author and I love how her two Hourglass novels have different POV's. I love time travel and the like, so these books were incredible for me. I can't wait for the third book in the series later this year!
Favorite Books: Hourglass, Timepiece

6. Cassandra Clare- I love her Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices series. And she's got the Dark Artifices set 5 years after TMI takes place. Which I will get also. Because she is awesome.

7. C.J. Redwine- I just recently read C.J's debut novel "Defiance" and I loved it. I loved her writing style, the world she created, and the characters. After this, I would pick up anything C.J. wrote.
Favorite Book: Defiance

8. Moira Young- I love the on-going Dustlands series by Moira Young. Her writing style is so unique and at first I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to stand the narrator, Saba, because of the way she speaks. Well, the plot captured me and I soon got used to Saba's voice. If you like dystopian, this is a great series to check out!
Favorite Books: Blood Red Road, Rebel Heart

9. Julia Kagawa- I loved Kagawa's Iron Fey series and I really liked her Immortal Rules also. Both series are definitely worth checking out!

10. Abbi Glines- Ok, here's where everyone is going to think I'm crazy. I haven't actually read one of her books yet. But, I have read all of her excerpts and teasers from her blog and OH MY. I already purchased her Existence trilogy for my Nook, but I won't be stopping there anytime soon! This woman knows how to write some swoony/steamy scenes!!!

Leave me some comment love! And I will get around to commenting back!

My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
