If you are a new follower, I
thank you! I'm looking to do a follower giveaway very soon. Leave me a comment and let me know how you followed so I can follow you back! You can now follow me via Bloglovin' and you should follow me on Twitter! :)
Oh boy. I have a few:
1) Iron Kissed by Patricia Briggs. (The 3rd Mercy Thompson book) Mercy goes through a horrible event and I haven't had a book reduce me to tears in a long time, if ever, but this one did. I hated seeing how broken and pitiful Mercy was after this event, especially since she's such a tough as nails heroine.
2) Harry Potter. You knew it was coming! End of
3) Defiance by C.J. Redwine. The wagon scene gutted me wide open like a fish. Absolutely heartbreaking stuff right there.
4) The entire Everneath book by Brodi Ashton. There wasn't one scene, it was the whole damn book!! I only felt happy for a few times during that book, because it was all so overwhelmingly, heartbreaking.
Your turn!!! Tell me what scenes gutted you open and ripped your heart out?!

I did not finish Harry Porter series, stopped at book 5 because I just could not continue when I knew there would be death at the end. Oh no I didn't know Defiance by C.J. Redwine would make you feel that way. It's in my TBR list and now I am scared to read it =/
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and I am following you via bloglovin and GFC
Don't be scared to read Defiance! It is AMAZING! I am such a fan of that book. I swear if you searched Defiance in my search box, I can't even tell you how many times I've referenced it! It's sooo good! Thanks for stopping by and following also!
DeleteOh there are so many moments in Harry Potter that made me cry and totally broke my heart! Especially in the last 3 books! Old follower, thanks for stopping by!

Gotta love some HP! As much as your heart breaks for Harry! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteOh, Harry Potter! Snape -- when I heard all about his love for Lili is broke my heart and I began to cry (and hiccup but that's another story)
ReplyDeleteHere is my FF
Ah! I forgot about Snape! Yes, that did make me sad because we finally understood where he was coming from and why he was the way he was towards Harry! Thanks for stopping by!
Deleteoops, I haven't read any of those yet :-(
ReplyDeleteOld follower.- This is my FF
Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteAlmost forgot about that Mercy one! That one was intense, although I have kind of given up on the series!
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter always has something emotional going on it for me!
Here's my Follow Friday
Have a GREAT weekend!
Old Follower :)
I'm on Book 5. Do they start to go downhill? I've really liked them so far!
DeleteJessica great list :D
ReplyDeleteHere's my Feature & Follow
Have a great weekend!
Thanks for stopping by Angelica!
DeleteThe only one you've listed that I've read is the Harry Potter series, and I definitely agree. I chose a different death for mine because it was the FIRST that hit me, but Sirius and Dobby hit me just as hard. Especially Sirius. I really held on to the belief that he would somehow come back. It wasn't until I finished the series that I finally had to cope with the realization he was gone forever :(
ReplyDeleteOld follower via BlogLovin :)
Me too! At the end of Order, I kept hoping it was a mistake somehow and that he was going to come back and him and Harry were going to be so happy together! Nope, J.K. Rowling just kept going with the pain after that one! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI get emotional very easy when it comes to books so there are many that have made me cry! i can't really remember specific scenes though :P
ReplyDelete*old GFC follower, but new Bloglovin and Linky follower* :)
My FF
I will cry at any movie, whether it's sad or not, but I don't get overly emotional with books. Just a few every now and again where my heart will hurt. I don't do the whole sobbing thing.
DeleteThanks for stopping by- I followed you back on both Bloglovin' and Linky!
Hopping through. Prisoner of Azkaban didn't make me cry, but it is my favorite book and totally surprised me - although looking back it should have been more obvious - at least the Lupin part.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
I definitely meant Order of the Phoenix. Azkaban didn't make me cry, and it was also my favorite book of the series. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteIron Kissed was a tough one. I think because of what took place both for Mercy and Adam, I fell in love with that book.
ReplyDeleteKristin @Book Sniffers Anonymous
As difficult as that book was emotionally, that whole last part of the book with Mercy and Adam made it all so worth it. I loved it. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteHaven't read any of these. Thanks for stopping by! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by also!
DeleteI have yet to read the Mercy Thompson series but they are amazing. Love when the a tough heroine can be broken just shows she is real. Never read the Harry Potter novels.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend
My FF
I really enjoy the Mercy series. And they have definitely gotten better and better with each book I've read. Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteI was an emotional wreck for the last few books of the series. I just wanted poor Harry to catch a break!
DeleteI'm ashamed to admit that I haven't read Harry Potter yet. *Cringes* >.< Defiance and Everneath were great reads, and I agree, they definitely had their sad moments.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! Old follower.

OMG a BIG YES to Harry Potter!! Those moments from PoA & OOTP just broke my heart...and made me angry for Harry & Sirius too to be honest :( I picked 2 Harry Potter moments for my FF too but both from DH!
ReplyDeleteMercy Thompson, Defiance & Everneath are ALL on my reading list :)
Thanks for sharing! Old follower ♥
