Leave
me a comment and let me know how you followed so I can follow you back!
You can also follow me on Twitter- because I love tweeting about books!
Q: What is your preferred reading format? Hardcover, eBooks, paperback, etc?
I definitely prefer e-books these days. A couple of years ago, I lost everything in an apartment fire (including my enormous bookshelf FILLED with books). So after that, I ended up moving back home to stay with my parents until I got back on my feet- and I bought myself a Nook instead. This way, if something happens, I won't ever lose all my books again! I only just recently started getting physical copies of books through signings, etc. Soooo. That's why I prefer e-books! And now it just feels weird to hold a real book. LOL.
What about you guys? What's your preference?

Oh man! So sorry to hear that. Another good reason I can add to my list. I still love to go to the bookstore and browse with a coffee in my hand, even if I don't buy. I love the smell of books! I agree, an actually book feels weird now though. I read one a few months ago and I caught myself swiping the page to turn it! Haha, blonde moment :-)
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Swiping the pages! That's so funny! I cheat when I have real books. I will go peek at the end to see what happens. Sigh, I've been doing that ever since I was young. On eBooks its not as easy to cheat! LOL
DeleteNew reader! :) I love your blog. http://a-bookaholic-reader.blogspot.com
ReplyDelete:D Thanks Eve!
DeleteOh my goodness! So sorry to hear about that! Glad you were okay though! I can understand why you favor ebooks now, I would too, at some point.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Follow Friday
Have a GREAT weekend!
Old Follower :)
:D Thanks Jessica. I also used to cheat and read the ends of physical books. LOL. So eBooks are better for me all around!
DeleteOh my gosh, that's awful! I can understand why you'd prefer an e-reader then. I love my e-reader as well, but I can never resist buying physical copies. They're so pretty! :P
ReplyDeleteMy FF
Lately, I have been slowly buying a few more books here and there. They ARE so pretty! Sometimes it's hard to resist!!
Deletebummer. I would cry over losing my books. Good reason to have an ereader. Old follower bloglovin.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I was not happy. But this way I can everything I need in one location. :D
DeleteI prefer prints. But we're all different :)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!

:D Nothing wrong with liking prints at all! I don't mind them- but I tend to flip through and spoil myself! LOL
DeleteOuch, that would suck to ,lose everything to a fire. It's always been a fear of mine that my house would go on fire and all my books would be gone. But you did lose all of yours.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's a very good reason to prefer e-books.

Yeah, it definitely sucked. I had quite a nice collection of books I no longer read (but had wanted to again at some point) LOL. Ah, well. Now I have them all in one nice location! So I bring my eReader everywhere!
DeleteThat sucks! But eBooks are great! They're convenient and you can have so many on one device! Old follower!
ReplyDeleteExactly! And you can take them wherever you go! I love having all my books at my fingertips constantly!
DeleteI'm so sorry to hear that! But at least YOU are okay! I'm with you though, I adore my Kindle :) I'm an old GFC follower but I just followed you with bloglovin as well! Happy Friday!!!
ReplyDeleteK @ My Favorite Escape
Thanks K! I really need to invest in a Kindle. I like my Nook, but I feel like Amazon has the better market!
DeleteI'm so sorry about the fire! Ebooks all the way and #TEAMASH! :D
ReplyDeleteJulianna Smith // Reading In Twilight - FFF
Yay for Team Ebook and Team Ash! Wooo! :D
DeleteDude, what a drag! I'm sorry to hear about the fire! I would be devastated if my beloved library went up in flames. I get why you adore ebooks (but nothing will ever beat a physical book... just saying :P) Old follower via bloglovin' and GFC!
ReplyDeleteShae @ Understanding Shae's Story
Thanks Shae! Yeah, it definitely sucked, LOL. But I'm slowly building the library back up. :D
DeleteOuch! The only threat to a physical book really. If that happened to me, that might be my kicker too.
ReplyDeleteHere is my FF.
Thanks for stopping by Jay!
DeleteOmg, that's awful!!! I'd be devastated. But glad you're ok!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy! It definitely sucked. But as strange as it is to say- it was actually a blessing in disguise.
DeleteLeave me some comment love! And I will get around to commenting back!
My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
