A-Z Bookish Survey

By 7:57 PM

Jamie from The Perpetual Page-Turner created this one for us and it's so fun! Click here to see hers!

Author you’ve read the most books from:
Probably Jennifer Armentrout. Or Lauren Blakely. Love both of those ladies!

Best Sequel Ever:
Shoot. This is a hard one... Ever? I don't know. I loved Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. My favorite in the series.

Currently Reading:

Drink of Choice While Reading:
Pepsi Max or Coke Zero. Those are my drinks of choice at any given moment.

E-reader or Physical Book?
E-reader. Hands down. I love that I have ALL my books with me at all times.

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:
Wow, another hard one. I am a sucker for good guys that play sports, so I would have dated Ryan from Dare You To by Katie McGarry. In fact, I did date a baseball player when I was in HS.

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. I was so hesitant to start these because the name was quite lame and the cover didn't do much for me. Thank God I did, because it's one of my favorite series.

Hidden Gem Book:
Miss Me Not by Tiffany King. I loved this book.

Important Moment in your Reading Life:
Last year I rediscovered my love for YA and went crazy reading Vampire Academy, Mortal Instruments, Hunger Games, Divergent, etc. Before that I was barely reading at all, and if I did it would be the same books over and over.

Just Finished:
Losing Hope by Colleen Hoover

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read
I won't read books about modern day politics.

Longest Book You’ve Read:
Probably Dante's Divine Comedy (Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso) or Homer's The Iliad.

Major book hangover because of:
A Matter of Heart by Heather Lyons. Holy crap, I need book three now. And Just Breathe by Rachel Brookes. I'm so ready to know what's next for Tate and Sav.

Number of Bookcases You Own:
Just one. I lost all of my physical books in a fire, so I just recently started collecting them again.

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:
I'm almost ashamed to tell you how many times I reread Bared To You by Sylvia Day. In fact, I won't tell you. But I love Gideon freaking Cross.

Preferred Place To Read:
In bed or on my comfy couch!

Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:
I just finished Losing Hope, so "Fuck all the firsts, Sky. The only thing that matters to me with you are the forevers." And I'm tearing up again.

Reading Regret:
I regret not having read Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead sooner than I did. That series was the game-changer for me.

Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):
Well, there's multiple ones, but the one that sticks out the most is Cynthia Hand's Unearthly series. I still haven't read Boundless.

Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:

Unapologetic Fangirl For:
Heather Lyons and her Fate series. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again and again. These books have the most complicated, most well done love triangle EVER. In the history of all books I’ve read, I’ve never had my heart pulled in so many damn different directions. And I love both Jonah and Kellan. But Jonah a little more.

Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:

Worst Bookish Habit:
My worst habit? Easy. I read the ending of books first. Now, not ALL the time, but on the important ones (like Bitter Kingdom) I can’t help myself. I can’t. Hence why I like ebooks, I don’t typically do it with those. But physical books? SO easy.

X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:

Your latest book purchase:

ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):
A few weeks ago I stayed up till at least 2-2:30 to read Hopeless by Colleen Hoover. And I stayed up till 3 or 4 am in HS reading Harry Potter.

This was so much fun to do! I miss surveys. This really does bring me back!

  5. Coke Zero!! My favorite but sadly I'm no longer allowed to drink anything with aspartame in it :( Major thumbs up for reading Dante and Homer! We read parts of the Inferno in the original in Italian class and it was wonderful, but my grasp of the language is simply not good enough to go through the whole work by myself.
How can you read the ending of a book first though?! o.O I know several people who do that and I just don't understand ^^'
Oh, and I think I really have to read my copy of Hopeless already...

You can check out my answers here if you want.

    1. Awww, bummer to no Coke Zero! I know I shouldn't drink it because of the aspartame, but I can't help it. Sigh... LOL. I've read Dante multiple times- but I also read the entire trilogy in its original Italian. Whew, that was crazy. But really cool too. :D I know! I hate that I read endings first! I get really mad at myself! But I have ZERO self control! LOL. And yes you really need to read Hopeless!!!

  6. I need to read more JLA! So bad.

I have not had Pepsi Max in a long time. Dang, that sounds good.

E-readers are wonderful. I still love my physical books though.

I really need to finish the Vampire Academy series.

    Great survey!!!

My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
