Top Ten Tuesday #37

By 1:00 AM

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.

Top Ten Books I've Read So Far This Year

1. Don't Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout (I love anything Jen writes, but for her to take a genre I don't typically like and rock it- well enough said!)

2. A Matter of Forever by Heather Lyons (The absolute epic conclusion to one of my all-time favorite series!)

3. Unfixable by Tessa Bailey (Tessa is the Queen of Steam when it comes to her Adult Brazens, and she did an amazing job of making the transition to NA!)

4. Make it a Double by Sawyer Bennett (Oh, Brody. This book just gave me so many feels.)

5. The Fine Art of Pretending by Rachel Harris (Rachel has truly done an incredible job of capturing teen voice here. I loved the story, characters, and how seamlessly the novel came together!)

6. Before You Break by Christina Lee (I love this series by Christina, but Quinn is definitely my favorite of her boys so far. He is really in a dangerous place and I like that Lee isn't afraid to tackle sensitive topics.)

7. The Deep End of the Sea by Heather Lyons (An awesome spin on Greek mythology! Medusa's story as you've never heard it!)

8. Lost in Me by Lexi Ryan (This book made my jaw drop more times than I can count. It's hot, sexy, and will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions!)

9. Make it Count by Megan Erickson (Such a cute, quirky novel! I loved it! Erickson has created some stellar, witty characters and I love the college setting!)

10. My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick (I can't even believe I waited so long to read this. I got it for Christmas and it should have been the first book I read. Seriously, such an amazing read!)

 Honorable Mentions:

Uninvited by Sophie Jordan
Last Second Chance by Caisey Quinn
Solving for Ex by Leigh Ann Kopans
Run To You Parts 1-3 by Clara Kensie
Be With Me by J.Lynn
Incinerate by Tessa Teevan
Fire & Flood by Victoria Scott
He Belongs With Me by Sarah Darlington
Unbroken by Melody Grace

  6. I'm amazed this week at how many lists contain mostly books I've never even heard of! The Deep End of the Sea sounds like one I would be interested in reading - thanks for the recommendation!

  11. Oh my god. Your list. First, I realllllly need to read Don't Look Back. And I will... one day. Heather Lyons' series has been on my radar for a long time, but I just can't seem to get around to it. I just discovered Tessa Bailey's books for the first time yesterday. Clearly I've failed miserably in life to just now find her. But I'm in love and will soon be reading EVERYTHING she's ever written. Make It a Double was fantastic. I picked up The Fine Art of Pretending at BEA and can't WAIT to read it. I loved every. single. one. of the books in your second set. Several of your honorable mentions are favorites, too. I freaking loved Solving for Ex and Uninvited. I've loved all of Tessa Teevan's books and can't wait for the next one.

So yeah, I guess what I'm saying is, we pretty much have the same taste in books. :)

My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
