Top Ten Tuesday #52
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.
Top Ten Favorite Heroines From Books
1)
Celaena freaking Sardothien
Are any words even needed here? I thought not.
2)
Lela Santos
I really love Lela. She is incredibly brave and the lengths she goes to for those she loves... ugh. Amazing.
3)
Ari Alexander
I love tough heroines and Ari is definitely that! She is fierce and strong, but I love how realistic she is too!
4)
Samantha Whitney
Sam is a survivor. I admire her so much for enduring what she did and still maintaining her strong, snarky personality.
5)
Mac Lane
6)
Alice Reeve
I just love Alice! She is no pushover and she is awesome! Not only has she survived the madness of Wonderland, but she knows how to hold her own.
7)
Kinsley Bryant
I love funny heroines and Kinsley cracked me up! Her inner monologue was HILARIOUS!
8)
Feyre
I adored Feyre. She has her own quiet strength and when it comes down to it- she does what she has to in order to save the ones she loves.
9)
Josie Gibson
I love Josie's spunk and no-nonsense attitude. She is relentless and will not give up on the person who needs her most.
10)
Kaylee Cavanaugh
Kaylee has gone through a lot in this series and she is one of my favorite YA heroines!

I LOVE Celaena, Mac & Kaylee! They are all freaking awesome! I haven't read any of the others on your list but I really want to read ACOTAR, Sanctum, and the Nicole Williams books :)
ReplyDeleteYou definitely need to read Sanctum! We book push that one so hard. LOL.
DeleteNice! I chose Mac as well! Dying to read ACOTAR but NG still hasn't released it for requesting and it's driving me bonkers! Love Kaylee too! Stuck to making my heroines from adult reads this go around! Except for my #10, but that's because it's automatic! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I really need a Mac reread. LOL. I love her and Barrons.
DeleteI haven't read any of these books yet, but I just purchased the first book in the Throne of Glass series and I've already added her new series to my TBR list. I'm happy to see the heroines made your list.
ReplyDeleteHere is my TTT: http://jacquesbooknook.blogspot.com/2015/02/top-ten-tuesday-favorite-heroines.html
I hope you love ToG! The series gets better and better with each book!
DeleteI haven't read any of these....I guess I have a lot more books to add to my TBR pile today!! I really need to get around to Sarah Maas's books!!

Amber @ Paradise of Pages
:) I hope you get to Sarah's books soon! She's great.
DeleteCelaena, Lela, Ari, Josie and Feyre!! Wohoo! Your list is SO awesome, Jessica! I'm so glad you included Lela though because I love that girl and this series is so underrated. I need more people to read it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I just finished Losers Weepers and Josie was the best freaking thing in that book. Garth was driving me crazy with his bull-headedness, but Josie! That girl is amazing. I really like Feyre too and I liked how strength showed slowly throughout the book.
I have to read The Collector's Society and the Rachel Vincent series! I've heard amazing things about the series.
Thanks for sharing! :)
I really hope you read TCS and Rachel's soon!
DeleteYES! Celaena, Feyre, and Kaylee made my list too. Love those girls.
ReplyDeleteGreat minds... :)
DeleteCealena and Mac would be on my list for sure too! Ari is a bit too act first think second for my taste, I must confess, and the rest... I haven't read the books yet, but Feyre... I read the sampler and I'm sure I'm gonna love her!
ReplyDeleteI hope you love Feyre as much as I did!
DeleteI want to try to read heir of fire too!
ReplyDeleteMY TOP TEN TUESDAY
I hope you do! It's SO good!
DeleteCelaena and Kaylee! YES! I do need to read a few books up there, but I'm glad to see that they have strong heroines in them! :D
ReplyDelete:) Wooo! Aren't those kinds the BEST?!
DeleteI'm only familiar with the Sarah J. Maas books. I don't know any of the others, so I'll check them out! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI hope you do Sarah! I think you'd really like Sanctum.
DeleteAh, MAC. Loved her ! And duh, Lela. :D
ReplyDeleteHaha, how could I NOT put Lela on this list?
DeleteOoohh, you have a lot of books that I'm not familiar with! But, I definitely agree with you about Calaena and Feyre! I don't have them on my list, but I did love Feyre in ACOTAR!
ReplyDeleteSarah writes the most kickass girls!
DeleteLela is a great choice! She is such a strong character, but I love how open her heart is to Malachi, too. They have some really tender scenes together, and her voice is just so compelling. <3
ReplyDeleteI still need to read ACOTAR! (Scared!)
Great choices, lady!
I need to reread Sanctum!
DeleteOh man, I am SO jealous that you've met Feyre, but I'm so happy to hear that she deserves to be on this list! I can't wait to meet her!
ReplyDeleteStefani @ Caught Read Handed
I hope you got to meet her Stef!
DeleteGreat picks here this week! I was too overwhelmed by the topic (and life at the moment) so I skipped it. I really like that you featured Sam from Pieces for You. I feel that that's a book that doesn't get nearly as much attention as it should. I really enjoyed the first two books in that series, but the third one lost me. It went too far for me to find it believable. Love Kinsley! Love Josie! Annnnnnnnd one of these days I'll read Sarah Maas' books and agree with you that the characters are strong and awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteI loved Pieces For You and I agree- it really didn't. Griffin and Sam were just amazing for me!
DeleteYES^^ Celaena, Mac and Feyre are all epically kick-ass women - I adore them all ♥ I still need to read Soul Screamers and Gravity though but both are on my wishlist/tbr shelf :D Awesome picks!!
ReplyDeleteMicheline @ Lunar Rainbows Reviews
I hope you get to Soul Screamers soon Micheline! Such a great series! I think you'll love.
DeleteStill need to read throne of glass! I know' I am an awful book lover!
ReplyDeleteHaha, nah. You're probably like all the rest of us- TONS of books to read! And not nearly enough time!
DeleteLeave me some comment love! And I will get around to commenting back!
My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
