Monthly Recap

April

Hi guys! It's finally MAY! May is always a favorite month of mine because it means summer is coming and I get a break from teaching!

This May will feel quite different because, for the first time in 9 years, I will not be returning to the classroom after the school year ends. I have loved being a high school Spanish teacher, but it's finally time to move on. I will be making the move to New York City this June to pursue a career in publishing. I am so excited about the opportunity I have and am looking forward to starting a new chapter in my life.

Hence the reason for my hiatus. I have been MIA from the blog these last couple of weeks and even more so from the social media world for the last couple of months, as I have been making preparations. This month will probably be the craziest of all, so I am going to just post when I can.

I did manage to get some reading in this past month, as I have been trying to read some books off my shelves. (I know that I can't bring two bookcases full of books to the city with me, as I won't be living alone.)

My favorite read this month goes to Addicted by Elle Kennedy. I just love this series so much!

  4. Wow! I'd say "How exciting", but that word has already been used by several other people. So I will simply say "good luck" and wish you the very best. Please keep us posted how it goes, and where you are working and so on. (If you're allowed to say.) Que te vaya bien!

  7. YAY to your new move! Do you have a job yet? Keep us posted! I also read ADDICTED last month and I LOVED IT! *sighs* That book was so hot and was loaded with feels. I read ME BEFORE YOU a couple of months ago and it broke my heart. The movie is going to kill me. I enjoyed PAPER PRINCESS, but that ending was a killer. I can't wait for the next book. I'm glad to see you liked WHEN WE COLLIDED because I've been hearing mixed things about it and I adore Emery's other books.

  9. I always hear from students that they love summer because they get a break from school, so funny to hear the same thing from a teacher. I wish you good luck and I hope everything would be great career-wise and in life in general.

I’ve heard positive things about Addicted by Elle Kennedy, thanks for remanding me about it. I loved Me Before You and Paper Princess too.

Leave me some comment love! And I will get around to commenting back!

My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
