Monthly Recap!

AUGUST

Where did the time go? It's already SEPTEMBER? Crazy! I don't mind though for two big reasons: 1) It's football time in Tennessee! 2) Fall is coming!

My reading has been down this month because school has started back up and it always takes me a bit to get back in the groove after being off for so long. I have some pretty great classes this year... and I have one awful one. I'm trying not to get discouraged by the one bad seed, but... it's hard.

I feel like I've been trying to get my blogging mojo back on track for so long now and it doesn't seem to be working. So, Tonya and I decided to come up with a reading/blogging schedule for the week to help streamline us. I felt it worked pretty well this first week!

Sadly, I had no 5 star reads this month! I had some that came super close though!

Out of all of the books I've read this month, I'd have to say my favorite has been Graceling by Kristin Cashore. I am in such a fantasy mood lately and I adored getting back to the Graceling Realm, especially after loving Fire!

  2. I hope you're having a fun time now that school's started up again. The Assassin's Blade broke my heart, and I'm so nervous about Queen of Shadows :D (And excited, but mostly nervous).

  8. I think a lot of us are suffering from that end of summer slump - hopefully we'll fall into new schedules and it will all sort itself out soon!

My blog is an award-free blog, however, as I just do not have the time to follow-up.
